Laurence’s windows

I’ve never seen such beautiful and delicate engravings on church windows. This is the Trinity Chapel window from the outside.

This is the window from inside St Nicholas Church, Moreton, Dorset.

All these window engravings were designed by Laurence Whistler – making him the other Laurence of note at this church – the other being Lawrence of Arabia who is buried here.

The beautiful gems set in the lovely countryside are always delightful :).
