Circle stone

I love this circle stone, by Dominic Welch, in the beautiful milky white tones of carrara marble. The carved pattern reminds me of celtic designs, that ancient tradition that anchors us in the landscape. This natural material too, connects us with the strong, enduring substance of our good earth. The circle makes me think of a different way of orienting oneself in life, enjoying the cycles of life moving dynamically through times and seasons. It reminds me of the dance of life, to be enjoyed actively, step by step and shared with others who dare to dance rather than live a straight line.
