I was really impressed with the way the space in front and around this building invited people to stop, sit, share – all aspects of a good working community. The Welsh Assembly Building on Cardiff was the place where lots of people enjoyed the view of Cardiff Bay, in the evening sun – just relaxing on the steps which were at sitting height. I’d like to go back and explore the inside of the building and see how different materials were used, but as a first visit, it was very welcoming space :).
